Here are some sailing videos that I picked off the Internet. I selected them because they show boats sailing really fast and some "Crashes" also -- always interesting when it is not happening to you! You will need a fast, broadband connection. They play great using my Comcast Cable Modem but a slower connection will take long load times and when it plays it will stop and start. Be sure to turn on your SPEAKERS, also, as the videos include music and some narration.

Catamarans! To your left: The reason to sail a catamaran! This is a "Nacra Catamaran To your right: British "Spitfire" Catamarans - spectacular sailing and capsizes at the end - This Video plays for just over 7 minutes so it may take a while to load.

This is a video of 420's sailing in strong winds - moving fast! - under spinnaker - with crew on the trapeze and lots of great sailing! This brings back great memories of the Summers of 1971 and 1972 when I was racing a 420 on Guam - in Apra Harbor . Everett Godfrey ("Ev") owned the boat but he wanted to crew and asked me to skipper it -- so -- after a very short "argument" that's what we did. We won the 1972 Summer Series and the final race on a Sunday decided the Series. That Sunday was the day before I left Guam to return to the "States".
